Baptisms
Baptisms are typically conducted on Sundays after the morning Eucharist service, although this schedule can vary depending on the time of year and other planned church events. We aim to be as flexible as possible and will work with families to accommodate specific dates and times where needed.
We warmly welcome all those who wish to have their child baptized at St Andrew's, as well as those who want to become new members of our family of God in Chilton Moor. A baptism is not just a ceremony, but a joyous occasion for our church family, and we celebrate each new member with open arms.
There is no fee for a baptism, as we believe it is a sacred and free gift from God. However, a collection plate is available for those who wish to make a voluntary offering, which supports the ongoing work and ministry of the church. This opportunity for giving is entirely optional and can be done by parents, family, and friends as a way of saying thank you for the church’s support.
